Southern Cross Fire & Alarm Systems - Sydney
On May 1st 2008 NFS completed the acquisition of Southern Cross Fire & Alarm Systems in Sydney NSW.
Southern Cross was founded by Peter Busseler in the southern region of Sydney NSW in 1996 following many years of experience in the fire protection Industry, their core market being Fire Alarm Systems in the minor works and service sectors, trading from Rockdale on the southern side of Sydney. The business currently employs approximately 35 people with 15 service vehicles.
It is not intended to make any material change to the current company management or its operations, other than to assist them to grow within the region and implement fireTrax® throughout the service operations of the business.
Peter Busseler will remain as senior executive and has become a shareholder within the National Fire Group.
This acquisition now sets the platform for NFS to truly enter the Sydney Fire Protection market and leverage off our existing client relationships within the region and also consolidate our core national footprint strategy.
The group focus will now be on integration of our national business to become one of Australia’s leading Fire Protection companies that can continue to grow, provide opportunity for our employees and provide a superior service to our customers on a national basis.
