About Firemain
The Firemain business was established in 1974 as a partnership between, the Dyhr and Haskell families. Now some 33 years later it is the leading Fire Protection Company in Western Australia and the employer of choice within the region. The company operates in both the Construction & Service sectors and also includes a large Sprinkler Pipe Fabrication facility. All operations trade from the one large facility in Maddington Perth.
NFS and Firemain commenced partnering in the service sector for some twelve months prior to the merger, which began following the licensing to Firemain of fireTrax® the Paperless Fire Safety Management System, the NFS home grown product which is now used throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The relationship between NFS and Firemain has since grown and developed, which now provides a unique opportunity for the group to collectively become a truly national business which provides opportunity for both our employees and customers.
The restructuring of Firemain, in 2007 resulted in the creation of National Fire Solutions (WA) Pty Ltd A.C.N.128 043 710 (NFS), a wholly owned subsidiary of National Fire Holdings Pty Limited ACN 122 837 576, which acquired the business assets of Firemain under the NFS Group banner.
